Creating space for diverse minds to flourish
About Me: The person behind Floreya
I’m Caroline, and I created Floreya around a simple belief: when we understand people better, we create the conditions for them to flourish.
My career to date has been in Financial Services, including senior leadership roles where I saw first hand the importance of people, culture and the environments we create for them to succeed. Alongside this, my journey into ADHD coaching following an ADHD diagnosis within my own family unit, has deepened my understanding of neurodivergence and the difference that genuine understanding and the right support can make.
These 2 worlds might seem quite different, but to me, they are connected by one thing: people have enormous potential, and we don’t always create the conditions for them to realise it.
My coaching practice is informed by the professional standards, ethical principles and core competencies of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
I am continuing my professional development and working towards the ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential, reflecting my commitment to ongoing learning and high standards of coaching practice.
Why Floreya?
Floreya grew from a desire to bring together professional experience, personal experience, coaching knowledge and a belief in the potential of people who think differently.
Neurodivergence is a variation, yet too often people are expected to fit into environments that weren’t designed with their needs, strengths or ways of thinking in mind.
At work, this can mean untapped talent, missed opportunities and people who struggle to thrive.
At home it can mean families trying to make sense or experiences they don’t always understand, searching for ways to support one another.
A different way forward
Floreya’s approach is grounded in curiosity, compassion and a belief in people’s capacity to grow. What happens when we stop focussing solely on what’s difficult and start looking at the whole person - their strengths, their challenges and what they need to thrive?
For businesses, that means recognising the value of neurodivergent talent and creating workplaces where people can perform at their best.
For individuals and families it means building understanding, growing confidence and finding practical ways that work for them.
Floreya is about creating space for diverse minds to flourish - at work, at home and everywhere in between!
Coaching: understanding the boundaries
Coaching offers a supportive and collaborative place for reflection, development and positive change. It can support individuals, families and people in the workplace to explore challenges, build understanding and identify practical ways forward.
Coaching is not therapy, counselling or mental health treatment. It does not involve clinical assessment, diagnosis or treatment of mental health conditions, and is not a substitute for therapeutic or healthcare support where it is needed.
Where appropriate, coaching may compliment other professional support when needed.
